2021 was an interesting year, especially if we look into the video games market. Many of the big hits got revamped, like Warcraft 3: Reforged, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Diablo 2: Resurrected or the iconic Final Fantasy VII Remake.
I was curious which games the team played the most this year and I made a list.
Here we go:
Gabor – MS Flight Simulator
The game is breathtaking! The landscapes are beautiful, the aeroplane physics is realistic and landings require effort and focus. I can only fly small planes and I must say, sometimes it can be challenging, especially in storms. Not to mention landing in a crosswind!
Adam – Guild Wars 2
I love Guild Wars 2! It’s casual friendly, has a good story, an open world, you can do PVP, content grind or jump puzzles, and of course, you can do raiding just like in any other MMOs. There are also dynamic open-world events for many players to do it together. The quests are dynamic too, and not like other MMOs to ‘kill 10 of this’ or ‘gather 5 of those’.
Patrik – Diablo 3
I always play through the season’s journey. The game changed a lot over the years and the seasons are definitely something I can recommend. I bought the game for my girlfriend and we usually play in hardcore mode. The community is fantastic, and many players are helping each other, especially in HC play mode.
Chloe – Monster Hunter Rise
Monster Hunter is my favourite franchise, so there was no chance I wasn’t going to play it! It’s exciting, challenging and great to play together as a group.
Rudolf – Cyberpunk 2077
I’m a big fan of Keanu Reeves and the Cyberpunk universe too. The graphics are incredible, and you can get lost in the game for hours. The characters are well written, just like the story itself, and it is definitely designed for multiple playthroughs.
The physics of the game enhances the game mechanics in the way that it creates spectacular gameplay. Multiplayer is quite enjoyable, again, because of the game mechanics. The game is hardcore and casual at the same time. Give it a go, you will like it too!
Robert – Diablo 2: Resurrected
I played a lot with the original Diablo 2 twenty years ago. Actually, I played that game for years, and even it did become obsolete, I still installed it every 3-4 years to give it a few hours of play. I don’t know what was expected from the refurbished version, but the game was the same for me. Yes, it looks better, but it was all the same.
I played it for many hours, though, as I wanted to see the end content, really.
There are many more we played, but these were the ones we spent more time playing with. If you liked our post, here you can find last year’s summary about the games we liked the most.
