This week’s selection has the futuristic Mercedes AVTR, Mac’s XDR display review, the Ghostbusters theme and Unity, all handpicked by Janos Szabo.
Mercedes AVTR
Beautiful. One of my friend’s reactions was like “does it come with protective goggles because its beauty can make you blind”. The concept is inspired by the movie Avatar. I love it. No steering wheel, no pedals, it is literally a car from the future.
Hardware Unboxed – MacBook XDR Display
Apple’s marketing praises the MacBooks’ display, they claim it’s one of the best on the market. This video is about checking and reviewing how good the screens are. Obviously, the MacBooks are good, and their screens are also providing amazing displays. However, the motion quality isn’t that good because of the response time.
Ghostbusters Theme
This is an extremely creative way to make music. It’s simply amazing. I love the timing, the knowledge and the creativity that went into it. And the theme is cool too 🙂
Unity Sprites: SpriteRenderer vs. CanvasRenderer
I am working on the app’s UI and I was looking into the options when I read this article. We both have vector and bitmap images and that’s why I looked up the differences. I am testing these right now and as far as I can tell, we can use both of them.

Unity Acquired Weta Digital
This is a short video about Unity and Weta Digital. I agree with Unity’s vision that they believe the world is a better place with more creators in it. Now with Weta, they can do a lot more on the creative side, I think.
This is a post in the Last Week in 5 Links series. We share a lot of interesting videos, articles and other types of content in our internal chat. We thought some of the info we come across could come in handy for others too. So each week we post five of the links we shared between ourselves in the previously selected by one of our team.
If you have any comments, ideas or personal experiences, feel free to share with us. We are curious to hear new ideas, solutions, and perspectives regarding the above. Don’t forget to follow us on our social media!
