This week’s selection has aircraft engineering, virtual violin, Win 11, VR headset, and the Foundation, all handpicked by Gabor Szabo.
Insane Engineering – GEnX
Incredible to see how much the material processing methods have improved in the last few decades. Recently, I started to play with Microsoft Flight Simulator and the game made me curious about aviation and improvements in aeroplanes. Fuel consumption is extremely important if we want to preserve our planet.
I’ve seen many virtual instruments in my life, but this one is the best amongst them. You can get similar results with a MIDI keyboard, but still, it will be far from the fine-tuned violin.
Win 11 – My Experience
A few of my friends recommended not to update to Windows 11, but I needed to replace my SSD and I decided to hop on the Win11 train. My overall experience is good so far, however, I had some issues with Docker development where one of the services blocked port 80.
Varjo XR3 VR Headset
I would love to try this headset. The specs are amazing, but the price is a bit steep and I would love to know the real PC requirements for this.
Asimov was one of my favourite writers when I was younger. I was very excited to watch the series and it didn’t disappoint me. I love it and I’m happy to recommend it to any sci-fi fan. There are differences between the books, but I don’t mind them.
This is a post in the Last Week in 5 Links series. We share a lot of interesting videos, articles and other types of content in our internal chat. We thought some of the info we come across could come in handy for others too. So each week we post five of the links we shared between ourselves in the previously selected by one of our team.
If you have any comments, ideas or personal experiences, feel free to share with us. We are curious to hear new ideas, solutions, and perspectives regarding the above. Don’t forget to follow us on our social media!
