This week in our selection, we have articles about extreme weather conditions in the UK, the new KIA EV6, Jeff Bezos’ talk after landing from space, The Last Duel trailer and heart rate zones during exercise, all handpicked by me.
Extreme weather will be the New Norm and the UK is not Prepared
Reading more and more about climate change and its effects on our future makes me very sad. The UK is a beautiful country and I hate to see that storm after storm was wrecking the land, causing severe floods and other damages. The heatwaves are also quite alarming, especially the people aren’t used to it, and buildings – in general – aren’t prepared to deal with hot summers.

New Kia EV6
I have had KIA for over ten years now and I am extremely satisfied with the brand. As I’m getting more and more aware of climate change, I’m thinking to change our diesel to an electric one. The EV6 is gorgeous, powerful and it is KIA. Love at first sight.
Jeff Bezos Thanks Amazon Staff & Customers
I bet that anyone who watched this video had mixed feelings. It’s nice to thank everyone, staff and customers, however, being the richest on the planet and knowing how the warehouse staff at Amazon is being treated… I don’t know. Not really nice, I’d say.
The Last Duel Trailer
It definitely caught my attention. I like Matt Damon and the fact I haven’t seen him in any knight-age movie makes it more interesting. I can’t wait to see the film.
Heart Rate Zones – Running
If you follow our social media, you know that we have started an exercise/running challenge in June within the team. Fortunately, many of us got involved and it is still ongoing. My main purpose with running is to lose some weight – which I’m doing well – and a few days ago, we discussed heart rate zones. It turned out that burning fat is better when you run slower but longer.
This is a post in the Last Week in 5 Links series. We share a lot of interesting videos, articles and other types of content in our internal chat. We thought some of the info we come across could come in handy for others too. So each week we post five of the links we shared between ourselves in the previously selected by one of our team.
If you have any comments, ideas or personal experiences, feel free to share with us. We are curious to hear new ideas, solutions, and perspectives regarding the above. Don’t forget to follow us on our social media!
