This week selection has the NVIDIA Canvas App, industrial collapse prediction, the Voodo Child from Jimi Hendrix, Visual Studio 2022 preview, and a glass octopus, all handpicked by Adam Kovacs.
NVIDIA Canvas App – AI
I found this video very interesting. It looks extremely easy to paint or draw something, especially with the help of AI. The end result is detailed and the options are endless. I am going to try it soon.
Industrial and Societal Collapse Prediction
In ’72, an MIT study predicted a collapse in the mid 21st century. Last year, Vice, one of the largest accounting firms, came to the same conclusion with their study. I’m sure that COVID sped it up a lot. This is extremely scary.
Voodoo Child – Jimi Hendrix
The clip is from 1970. I love to listen to his music, and he is one of my favourites.
Visual Studio 2022 Preview
A lot of quality of life changes coming and I’m so excited about them. For example, you will be able to change the code in real-time without restarting the app.
Glass Octopus
I picked this one because it’s beautiful. It amazed me that these octopuses were hidden until 1918. So much we haven’t discovered about our planet.
This is a post in the Last Week in 5 Links series. We share a lot of interesting videos, articles and other types of content in our internal chat. We thought some of the info we come across could come in handy for others too. So each week we post five of the links we shared between ourselves in the previously selected by one of our team.
If you have any comments, ideas or personal experiences, feel free to share with us. We are curious to hear new ideas, solutions, and perspectives regarding the above. Don’t forget to follow us on our social media!
