Last Week in 5 Links #71

by | May 4, 2021 | FiveLinks

In this week’s selection, we have a mind-blowing Lego Technic ropeway, ten beautiful UK locations, Codepens, The Witcher season 2 production wrap video and Life is Strange: True Colours official trailer, all handpicked by Rudolf Major.

Lego Technic Detachable Ropeway

This is just insane. My jaw dropped when I watched the video. I had thousands of bricks when I was a child. It has always amazed me that people are so creative when they build complex structures from Lego bricks. How? For example, this video looks super complex. More than eight thousands bricks!!!

Ten Places to Visit in the UK

These places are just beautiful. I’ve been to the UK many times because of work, but I never had a chance to visit as a tourist, on holiday. Next time, it would be great to stay an extra few days and drive around the country to see some of these breathtaking landscapes.

Front End Dev Reacts to Codepens

A long time ago, in another galaxy, far, far away, I worked as a site builder. Being a backend dev, I still know CSS very well. I laughed, watching the guy scratching his head. It’s unbelievable how much they can do from the basic set.

The Witcher Season 2 Wrap Up

I love The Witcher series. The world, the characters and the story, it’s just ten out of ten. I remember I watched the first season within a day. I can’t wait for the second one, honestly. I am very excited about it!

Life is Strange: True Colours Official Trailer

Before the Storm was my favourite and watching this trailer, I can tell that I’ll like this too. If you haven’t played with the first episode or Before Storm, I think a bundle available at the moment on Steam. (We are not affiliates, I had just seen it the other day).

This is a post in the Last Week in 5 Links series. We share a lot of interesting videos, articles and other types of content in our internal chat. We thought some of the info we come across could come in handy for others too. So each week we post five of the links we shared between ourselves in the previously selected by one of our team.

If you have any comments, ideas or personal experiences, feel free to share with us. We are curious to hear new ideas, solutions, and perspectives regarding the above. Don’t forget to follow us on our social media!
